[Debate] Disrupting the collapse: can digital technology accelerate the ecological transition?
Digital technologies are great tools to help reduce many environmental impacts. However, implementing them also requires anticipating and taking into account rebound effects, and also risks that we simply intensifying our use of them. How can digital technology meet the challenges of the ecological transition? Can technological progress really address the root causes of climate change?
