In times where democracy seems more pertinent than ever, our intermediary bodies no longer there to ensure debate. Democracy thus finds new places of resonance like social networks, roundabouts, civic tech etc. These spaces may be part of a revival of democracy, but are they really changing the situation? What are their limits and what is their potential? Is there a need for a more direct, participatory or better represented democracy?
